Greg Reynolds enters his 5th year on staff with Coach Sims and will again be coaching the Defensive Line, but this will be his 20th season coaching football at Park Hill and 35th overall.

 

Coach Reynolds begin his career at Belton High School in 1990 before moving to North Kanas City.  In 1999 Reynolds served as an assistant for Coach Bill Sobbe.  The following season Reynolds would take over as Head Coach.  Over the next thirteen seasons Reynolds would become Park Hill’s All-Time Winningest Head Coach, win a State Championship, serve as Head Baseball Coach and help change countless players, teachers and coaches lives for the better.

 

The Trojans went 104-44 under Reynolds’ direction, winning nine district titles and making six appearances in the state semifinals. They won the Class 5 state championship in 2003. Park Hill made the playoffs in 2000-2003, 2005-2006, 2008-2009 and 2012. 

 

“Our time at Park Hill we had a great group of kids and a great group of coaches” said Reynolds, “They’re the reason anything ever happened.”

 

Reynolds graduated from Oak Park High School in 1983 and attended the University of Central Missouri, graduating from there in 1987. In addition to coaching football, Reynolds also is the assistant Golf Coach for the Trojans.

 

During his career, Reynolds was named Missouri Class 5 Coach of the Year, and in 2017 was inducted into the GKCFCA Hall of Fame.
